Belarus attends SCO-Xuzhou conference on interregional cooperation

MINSK – Belarus took part in the conference on interregional cooperation between the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and China's Xuzhou, BelTA learned from Belarus' Consulate General in Shanghai.
“Belarus' Consul General to Shanghai Andrei Andreyev took part in a meeting on cooperation and exchange between Xuzhou, ASEAN countries and Belt and Road states, and also the conference on interregional cooperation between the SCO member states and Xuzhou,” the Belarusian consulate general said.
The consul general met with Xuzhou Mayor Zhuang Zhaolin, other officials of the people's government of the region, representatives of the administrations of the technological and pedagogical universities of Xuzhou. The parties discussed ways to expand interregional trade, economic and education cooperation. The parties also touched upon twinning ties between Xuzhou and Mozyr District of Gomel Oblast.
Andrei Andreyev made a presentation of the investment opportunities of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone for the business circles of Xuzhou and also spoke about the export potential of the Belarusian meat and dairy industry.
