While in China Belneftekhim Deputy Chairman Vladimir Sizov met with representatives of the Chinese company Complant (China National Complete Plant Import and Export Corporation) to discuss investment cooperation

In January-September 2018 Belarus sold $52 million worth of food to China. The top sellers included dairy products, which export rose by nine times from January-September 2017

The Consulate General will serve as a linking bridge between authorities, business and general public of Belarus and China at the regional level and will promote active contacts between the two countries.

A $20 million contract to supply dairy products was signed by Meat and Dairy Company and Sinoby Agriculture. A cooperation agreement was signed by Sinoby Agriculture and Chongqing Yuxinoy logistic company to use container trains for the delivery of Belarusian products to China

The parties discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation in the supply of Belarusian agricultural products and the exchange of cattle breeding experience. Special attention was focused on the organization of joint Belarusian-Chinese agricultural assembly plants in Hohhot

Heads of ministries, concerns, the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone and about 80 Belarusian exporting companies and their Chinese partners discussed ways and instruments to promote and diversify the export of Belarusian goods and services on the Chinese market

The price for each batch will depend on the market situation. The approximate price for the total volume is estimated at $16-18 million. The shipments will be done via the internationally recognized trader Ekman & Co AB

The Belarusian delegation visited the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the exposition will be head of the Belarusian delegation, Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Nikolai Snopkov and guest of honor on China's behalf, Gansu Province Governor Tang Renjian

The National Agency of Investment and Privatization (NAIP) will arrange daily presentations focusing on Belarus' investment climate, terms of doing business, promising sites and investment projects.
