“New composite materials are virtually substitutes for metals. They are now actively used in mechanical engineering. We would love to join the race. The project is estimated at more than €200 million. We expect Belarus, Germany, China, and Russia to participate in the project,” said Alexander Yaroshenko, head of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone

“Not long ago our delegation came back from China where we discussed the issues of beef supplies. Very soon two companies, these are Mogilev Meat Packing Plant and Veles Meat, will start their supplies,” said the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry Aleksei Bogdanov

Initially, the plant plans to produce 10,000 engines per year. Subsequently, the production capacity is expected to grow to 20,000 engines, with the share of local content growing to 50%

Several dozen millions of tonnes of various cargoes have been transported in containers along the China-Europe railway route via Belarus up to date. Sometimes, however, these containers return to China empty. But they could be used to transport Belarusian goods on the way back to China

The Belarusian-Chinese industrial park Great Stone is a big project of bilateral cooperation, Liu Bin, Deputy Secretary General of the Department of European-Central Asian Affairs of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told the media

The economic contacts between Sichuan Province and Belarus have been growing stronger. For example, Chengdu Xinzhu Silk Road Development is building a factory to assemble ultracapacitors for electric transport in the industrial park Great Stone. This project is very promising for both sides

The sides agreed to consider supplying Belarusian beef, milk, and flax to China, set up joint ventures to produce clothes, fireworks, and dispose of household waste
