Meat Dairy Company and China's DRex Food Group Co., Ltd have inked an agreement to supply 1,000 tonnes of Belarusian beef and 1,000 tonnes of poultry

Belarus and China have agreed to set up a second joint design institute. The matter was considered at a meeting to discuss the construction of facilities at the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone. The meeting was hosted by Belarus' Vice Premier Anatoly Kalinin

Belarus’ government has been supporting Grodno Azot by letting buy natural gas at a lower price - $170 per 1,000 cubic metres. In 2018 and later the gas price for Grodno Azot will stand at $150, so that the company could invest more in production development

The Chinese company also talked about the plans for 2018 on new projects which contracts were signed. The parties discussed other promising areas of cooperation

Members of the Belarusian delegation met with representatives of the Liaoning Province administration and representatives of major Chinese companies. Arrangements on future cooperation were made. Bilateral documents were signed

The contracts were signed during an agricultural fair in China’s Guangzhou. The fair was organized by Belarus’ Embassy in China

This result was achieved thanks to the well-coordinated work of the Agriculture and Food Ministry, the Belarusian Embassy in China and Chinese food security experts, the Chinese side noted during the talks. Currently, China is the world's largest importer of beef. Last year the Chinese beef import was estimated at $2.6 billion
