MINSK, 15 April (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Belarus Cui Qiming to discuss the forthcoming high-level meetings, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As many as 100 companies will be invited to become part of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, BelTA learned from Minsk Oblast Governor Semyon Shapiro.

Belarus and other Eastern European countries are becoming increasingly attractive for Chinese investors, Hans Timmer, World Bank Chief Economist for Europe and Central Asia, told journalists during the presentation of a WB economic update on the Europe and Central Asia (ECA) region on 7 April, BelTA has learned.

Gomel Oblast will ship the first lot of beef to China in early 2017, the press service of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee told BelTA.
