Belarus to partake in Suifenhe sales exhibition in 2014

MINSK (BelTA) – Belarus plans to take part in an international trade exhibition in the Chinese city of Suifenhe in August 2014, BelTA learnt from the Embassy of Belarus in China.

The issue was discussed at the meeting of chief councilor on trade and economic issues of the Belarusian embassy in China Leonid Batyanovsky and Vice Mayor of Suifenhe, Heilongjiang Province, Fu Gang and representatives of the Chinese Chamber of International Commerce. The parties discussed bilateral Belarusian-Chinese trade and economic cooperation.

The international sales exhibition in Suifenhe in 2013 gathered about 1,000 companies and more than 60,000 visitors from different countries. According to the organizers, the exposition will be bigger next year. Preparations for it are underway. Among the participants are Russia, Japan, the Republic of Korea. Among the initiators and organizers of the exhibition is China International Chamber of Commerce, the Government of Heilongjiang Province and the city of Suifenhe, the Department of Commerce of Heilongjiang Province, the Heilongjiang subsidiary of China’s Committee on International Trade Promotion.
