China’s Huawei shows interest in opening R&D center in Belarus

MINSK (BelTA) – Chinese company Huawei shows interest in opening its R&D center in Belarus. The issue and a number of other matters have been brought to the highlight of the meeting between representatives of Huawei Company and Vice Premier of Belarus Anatoly Tozik, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian government.
The parties considered prospects for expanding the company’s presence in Belarus, long-term cooperation opportunities, including implementation of investment projects in the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park.
The Chinese company expressed interest in its multipronged activity in Belarus, including the creation of an R&D center, logistics projects, service maintenance and modernization of telecommunications equipment.
