Belarus-China trade and economic commission to sit in Minsk 30 October

MINSK (BelTA) – Deputy Minister of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China Jiang Yaopin has taken a Chinese delegation to Belarus to partake in the 13th meeting of the Belarusian-Chinese commission on trade and economic cooperation on 30 October, BelTA has learnt.
The Belarusian part of the commission will be led by Vice Premier Anatoly Tozik, the Chinese part by Jiang Yaopin. The agenda of the meeting will include a consideration of prospects of bilateral economic, credit and investment cooperation. The sides will discuss the implementation of investment projects in Belarus with the help of Chinese loans. First of all, it pertains to the construction of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park.
The parties are expected to sign several documents including a memorandum and a protocol of the first meeting of the intergovernmental coordination council of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park.
Chinese guests will also meet with the Prime Minister of Belarus and will be given a tour of BelAZ which supplies dump trucks onto the Chinese market.
Apart from that, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will host a roundtable for Chinese and Belarusian businessmen.
The visit of the Chinese delegation will last until 1 November.
