China’s loan for Belarus communication and broadcast satellite service

MINSK (BelTA) – China will provide a soft buyer loan to Belarus to implement an investment project envisaging the development of the national communication and broadcasting satellite service, BelTA learnt from the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus to the People’s Republic of China.
Loan agreements with the Export-Import Bank of China were signed in Beijing on 19 December to provide preferential loans for the implementation of two investment projects in Belarus.
One of the projects regards the development of the national communication and broadcasting satellite system. The other envisages M5/E271 Minsk-Gomel highway reconstruction.
On Belarus’ behalf the documents were signed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Viktor Burya.
