Belarusian-Chinese trade and economic commission to sit in Beijing on 8-9 November

MINSK (BelTA) – A regular session of the Belarusian-Chinese trade and economic commission will take place in Beijing on 8-9 November. Vice Premier of Belarus Anatoly Tozik will chair the session, Andrei Savinykh, Head of the Information Office, Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, told media on 3 November.
The Belarusian delegation includes heads of several ministries and representatives of major Belarusian companies. The sides are expected to discuss the fulfillment of the arrangements made during the September 2011 meeting of the Belarus President with the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress. The sides will also share views and express proposals with regard to the state and prospects of developing Belarusian-Chinese relations in the area of trade, credit and investment cooperation.
There are plans to hold negotiations at the level of the Vice Premier of the State Council of China.
Anatoly Tozik will also meet with heads of major Chinese banks, companies and corporations that are implementing or plan to implement investment projects in Belarus.
After the session a memorandum and bilateral documents regarding the implementation of important investment projects, in particular the foundation of a Chinese-Belarusian industrial part, will be signed.
