Lukashenko confirms Belarus’ readiness for all-round cooperation with China

MINSK (BelTA) – On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated President of the People’s Republic of China Hu Jintao and the people of that country on the National Day of the People’s Republic of China, BelTA learnt from the presidential press service.

“Belarus sincerely admires China’s success in securing sustainable economic progress aimed at building up a prosperous country based on full consent and political stability. Under Your wise leadership the Chinese state was one of the first to come through the global financial and economic crisis. The World EXPO 2010 in Shanghai where the Belarusian and Chinese expositions take a decent place testifies to the fact,” the message of congratulations says.

“I would like to confirm Belarus’ intention to further develop all-round political, trade and economic relations with the People’s Republic of China which have recently become strategic,” Alexander Lukashenko noted.

The Belarusian head of state expressed hope that during his forthcoming meeting with the Chinese leader in Beijing the two sides would be able to discuss further implementation of the joint projects in loan and investment, sci-tech, military-technical and other areas.

Alexander Lukashenko wished the President and people of China every success in the country’s chosen way of development.
