Belarusian National Technical University and Beijing Polytechnic Institute: firm strive for cooperation in science and education

Two leading educational institutions of Belarus and China recently signed the Agreement on Cooperation during the visit of the delegation of Belarus’ Ministry of Education to China (November, 2009), which was headed by the head of the Belarusian National Technical University, head of the Belarus’ Rectors’ Council academician Boris Khroustalev.
The representatives of the Belarusian system of education presented national system of training specialists as well as scientific and technical potential of the educational institutions. The hosts, Beijing Polytechnic Institute, and other Chinese partners from the state agencies and educational institutions expressed sincere interest to the Belarusian presentation.
The Agreement signed determined the direction of the future and on-going joint projects of the University and the Institute. The parties agreed on implementing a whole series of acute integration focused projects in scientific and educational niches, including students’ and teachers’ exchange, joint research and scientific events, informational exchange, joint training programs for students and post graduates.
