Chinese Innovation Technopark of the City Wuxi provides platform for creating Belarusian science intensive small and medium enterprises

International Professional Innovation Technopark of the City Wuxi is ready to provide real opportunities for implementing Belarusian business projects on creating hi-tech productions within the frameworks of the cooperation between Belarus’ Ministry of Education and State Administration for Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA) of China.
According to the Agreement on Joint Implementation of the Program of Innovations and Business Entrepreneurship for Belarusian Experts signed by the Chinese Technopark and Belarusian National University, Belarusian National Technical University and Technopark BNTU “Metolit” it is planned to set up special privileged starting platform for Belarusian experts within the structure of the Wuxi’s Technopark.
The main aim of the platform is creating science intensive small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Under the agreement China is to provide all necessary consultancy regarding setting up and developing businesses in the Technopark, ensure transfer of innovations and advantageous business climate for Belarusian experts, in particular financial support from the governmental fund for the enterprises and their development, three years exemption from office rent (for the area of 100 sq.m.) and availability of the residential areas (100 sq.m.).
The agreement assumes creating enterprises focused on specific directions – sensors and ITs, network interaction, energy and environment, new materials as well as some other technological studies and research.
    The city of Wuxi hosted the international exhibition on scientific innovations and business entrepreneurship, attended by the experts and specialists from the USA, UK, Germany, Belgium, Belarus and other countries. In his report at the opening ceremony the head of the Belarusian National Technical University Boris Khroustalev gave high assessment to the joint educational and technological potential of Belarus and China and stressed the need to join the efforts in solving the priority matters.
