RCTT Field Office at Sino-Russian Technopark in Chanchun

On 25 June PhD Tamara Yanchevskaya, Manager of the RCTT overseas office, visited the construction site of the Sino-Russian Technopark in Changchun city. A set of new buildings for the technopark is planned to be finished by the end of this year. The new premises are expected to accommodate medical laser production unit (under a Belarusian technology), permanent and constantly updated Belarusian hi-tech exhibition, show units on particular engineering and manufacturing methods and processes.

Thus, the Yangban Academy of Agricultural Sciences is going to test the ionitoponic technology for accelerated production of virus-free potato seeds (the method developed by the Mineral Nourishing and Photosynthesis Optimization Laboratory at the State Institute of Experimental Botany in Minsk). Should the technology turn out a success, there will be an experimental seedage site created for best Chinese varieties of potato. This measure will promote the Belarusian technology and help replicate and introduce the advanced method among potato seed farms across China.
