A.Popkov, Deputy Head of Presidential Administration, to meet Deputy Chief of the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Li Zhiyong

The issues of bilateral Belarus and Chinese cooperation, staff policy pursued by the government were discussed in the course of the meeting of A.Popkov, Deputy Head of Presidential Administration and Li Zhiyong, Deputy Chief of the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on August 21. The Palace of the Republic in Minsk hosted negotiations. The Belarusian party was represented by Valentin Rybakov, Presidential Aide, Viktor Gaisenok, Deputy Foreign Minister, and Anatoliy Stepus, Head of the Department for Asia and Africa of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
“The visit of the Chinese delegation will help promote mutually-beneficial contacts between the Presidential Administration of Belarus and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the People’s Republic of China”, A. Popkov said opening the meeting. He pointed to the importance of the Belarusian-Chinese negotiations which were held earlier and focused on personnel policies.
Alexander Popkov marked that Belarus is notable for the high level of the socio-economic situation, successive foreign policy implementation and its national socio-economic developmental model, taking into account its historic, economic and socio-political peculiarities. “The reached state of political stability, and comparatively fast pace of economic advance proves the current model to be successive” the Deputy Head of Presidential Administration stated.
The Belarusian and Chinese interaction, supported by close friendly contacts between the Heads of the countries is promising and mutually beneficial. A. Popkov noted that recently the relations between Belarus and China had effectively developed in different spheres.
